I'd be very surprised if the League's and PA's Insurance Company gives him the Go Ahead to play...but Good Luck to him if they do...

This might be the oldest goaltending tandem since Hall/Plante in St. Louis...

If hank wants to play, he has earned that right with his career. Goalies can still perform later in their careers, but I don’t see hank as an upgrade to Smith on the oilers if I’m being honest. And if hank wants to win a cup he won’t go there.

I can see hank potentially with Boston backing up ullmark. That would be his best chance at a cup. But if I remember correctly that might not work for Boston since they have this kid in the farm
That will most likely take the back up duties this year.

Outside of Boston, maybe Pittsburg or Washington give him a chance. But they have as much chances of winning the cup as Edmonton currently.

Well, he's probably better than Koskinen.

Sure . On a one yr deal paying $1million. But then the problem becomes Koskinen and his $4million contract. Which they can't buy out anymore.

Better play is to ride out the present tandem until mid season, see where they are at that point, then trade MK and a high pick for a playoff goalie.

Of course, the truly better play would have been to not give MK the contract in the first place. Or hire Chiarelli.

It would be odd seeing him in anything other than a rangers jersey, even though he was nearly a cap

Just like marty wearing a blues jersey

Edmonton needs more than a hot Carey Price let alone an out of service Hank.

Lundqvist has had a terrific career. It’s doubtful that he could get medical clearance. In the unlikely scenario that he got clearance, he could play a game or 2 or a week before realizing it’s over.

Did the blogger ask if Henrik would be willing to go to CHI,MIN,SJ,MTL or any other place? If so, did the source refuse to confirm or deny?

Jesus, is he really still using pads you have to tie on?

Anyway, Brodeur made it to the cup finals at 40 or 41, so it's not impossible.

Good luck. Just stay the (frank) away from the Metro.

It’s sad. Lundqvist is an absolute legend in NYC but he was in a steep decline three years ago. Father Time is undefeated. I’d hate to watch him tarnish his legacy

The media gave him that name. Great dude and could be a solid back up somewhere

He'd be the perfect fit in Edmonton.
Holland building the oldest roster he can. Maybe he can get Joe Thorton to sign as well. Trade a pick for Marleau.
Think ole Kennys going down memory lane.
